Kansas Bankruptcy Attorney

My name is Russell W. Davisson and my law office located in Wichita, Kansas, focuses primarily on consumer bankruptcy. I have over 30 years of legal experience and I am a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Filing for personal bankruptcy under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 stops foreclosures, wage garnishments, repossession, and creditor harassment. Please contact my law office to schedule a free initial consultation.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Chapter 7 offers people a fresh start with a discharge of most types of debts. Chapter 7 is most appropriate for those people who have serious and extensive debts and do not have the resources to pay back those debts.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

With chapter 13, people are usually able to maintain their assets, such as a house or a car, by creating a repayment plan that is set at a reasonable amount given their current income level. At the end of the repayment period, typically three to five years, you are in good standing with your payments.

Debt Relief Solutions

Bankruptcy is not the only avenue for debt relief and is not right for everyone. People need to understand their options so they can make decision on how to proceed. If bankruptcy is not the best option, I will help my clients with other alternatives to alleviate their debt including negotiating with their creditors.

Payment plans are available. My office hours are 8:30 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. I am available on the weekends and evenings by appointment.
